I am becoming a believer in the 'catching the bouquet' superstition. You know, where the lucky lady who catches the bouquet will be the next bride. Because, you see, I caught the bouquet at my old roommate's wedding and I was the next former roommate to get hitched, my cousin, Amanda, caught my bouquet and got married within a year, and remember Kim and Ben's wedding? Well, I don't know if you know this, but Heather caught Kim's bouquet. See?
On the left, Heather looks to be throwing elbows to claim her prize.
The craziness doesn't end there. Please, bring your attention to the photo on the right. Do you see the gentleman in the upper right-hand corner wearing the pink tie, totally photo-bombing Kim and Heather's nice post-bouquet-catch photo? That, my friends, is Matt -who was not even dating Heather at the time. Could this be fate? I'm generally a skeptic, but I'm questioning myself now.
Needless to say, they DID start dating, fell in love, and now plan to be married this May. Before this session, I didn't know much about Matt (besides his photo-bombing escapades) but after spending more time with him; I'm convinced that he will make a wonderful husband to my awesome cousin. They really are so sweet together.
Don't they make a cute couple?
This was a fun session to do. These lovebirds were super easy to work with. I'm looking forward to documenting their wedding!
